Kyee Ne Lake and the moat (around the monastery) in Yamethin

One of the things I like here in Yamethin, even though it is quite hot this summer, is that they have  scenic views of the famous Kyee Ne Lake, which, as I was told, is the source of electricity in this area.  But after enjoying the view of the lake, my friend Cho Cho brought me to their park, where people go to exercise and to sit and relax by the moat.

We came very early so the shops around the park were still closed. I think it is a good thing because we enjoyed all the view without anyone bothering us..

And the big bonus for me is, I got to hug an old huge tree..

How cool is that?

Kyee Ne Lake

One fine Saturday with Cho Cho Win at Kyee Ne Lake.. Yamethin's water source for irrigation and household use.. It's really very simple. Nothing to compete with the glorious sunrise.  And it's really good. You can commune with nature, do physical exercise if you are into it, or you can simple sit and marvel into the serenity at this time.

We came very early, so there were no people but us. We left when people started arriving. The view is also nice in the evening, or if you are lucky, witness the sunset in awe.
