Walgreens and Express Scripts

This post brought to you by Walgreens. All opinions are 100% mine.
I have read about what happened to Walgreens and Express Scripts that results in the loss of  Prescription Savings Club at Walgreens. I pity the customers who will have to look for another means to enjoy great deals on medicines. As we all know, patients with specific prescription insurance plans managed by Express Scripts are the only ones impacted. That is why  everyone using it is advised to check with local Walgreens pharmacists to know whether one is impacted or not. Patients can also check the back of their prescription insurance card if Express Scripts’ name can be found thereat. If so, they may be affected. Of course, Express Scripts is not there, then they are not affected. To help patients and minimize the disruption , Walgreens is offering a special discount on annual membership for their  Prescription Savings Club where an individual can actually join during a special January promotion for just  $5, or even  $10 only for a family membership, while they receive savings on more than 8,000 brand name and all generic medications. With this, more than 400 generics can be made available with a three-month supply for less than $1 a week. That's a lot of saving, right? Regular annual membership is $20 for an individual and $35 for a family.
Let us continue to support Walgreens and follow Walgreens on Twitter and like Walgreens on Facebook. That way, we get more information about these matters.

TS Sendong's Wrath

Tropical Storm Sendong hit out city hard last December 17.. and Christmas seem difficult to imagine with all dead and missing persons that we know, and those we don't really know, but feel their pain as they have lost not just one, but some, an entire family. For student, if they didn't lose anyone, they'd probably be having a problem with muddied books and all...

My brother's books and school items, including uniforms and bags and shoes are gone now.. They can no longer be used..
It's really sad that it had to happen right when we are about to start celebrating Christmas..
